FAQs

I'm currently in bankruptcy. Can you still help?
Yes. But we cannot negotiate a work-out agreement with your lender until your mortgage has been discharged or dismissed from the bankruptcy proceedings. Our professional loss mitigation consultants can still evaluate your case and explain the best options to save your home. Then, when the mortgage is out of bankruptcy, we can proceed with the home foreclosure assistance. Sometimes after bankruptcy, it is easier to make a mortgage payment because other debts have been discharged.

Should I file for bankruptcy to save my house?
That usually doesn't work.  The American Bar Association has reported that 96% of homeowners who declare bankruptcy end up losing their homes to foreclosure anyway. Bankruptcy is very unlikely to help you save your home. If you declare bankruptcy, you will likely end up with BOTH a bankruptcy and a foreclosure on your credit report.

Who we are

Homeowners Help Center is a subsidiary of the Nardin Group of Companies. Nardin; a brand built on a high degree of  professionalism and integrity has been servicing the New York  area real estate  industry since 1987. The principal Leslie Bhagwandin has been in the real estate and financing arena continuously for the last 25 years.  He has trained and nurtured thousands of real estate agents, mortgage professionals and small real estate investors who continuously seek his advice and guidance in this ever shifting landscape.

For the last 15 years Leslie  has specialized in distressed asset solutions. National Shortsale Processing Center (NSPC) and its predecessor Home Owners Help Center (HOHC)  under the guidance of Leslie have negotiated approximately 1 billion dollars in delinquent mortgages  and have interviewed,  counselled and educated about 10,000 (and still growing)  homeowners in all stages of mortgage default.

From determining exit strategies for distressed real estate assets and loan loss reversal for lenders,  to the salvaging and restructuring of delinquent borrowers as viable re-entry consumers in the real estate credit market place. Leslie Bhagwandin is the "go to guy". Leslie's real estate and financing career is built on a foundation that encompasses all aspects of the industry and includes insurance, home heating oil renovations, new home construction, real estate sales, property management, mortgage origination and processing and a host of other strategic alliances.

Bringing education, awareness and transparency to the consumer is our primary goal. Moderate pricing and affordability is woven into the fabric of our company's structure as can be evidenced by our subsidiaries: http://www.uscheaprent.com and http://www.cheaphomesrus.com, all the while never compromising our quality of service.

Leslie Bhagwandin is a practising real estate broker in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. He currently teaches Loss Mitigation Negotiations (www.foundationwealth.com) and is developing strategies for home retention (www.stablefooting.com) and other entrepreneurial alliances.

Education and competence is our foundation, trustworthiness and reliability are our watchwords.   This is what one grateful homeowner had to say in the  New York Daily News, October 2nd , 2008 headlined "Saved From The Jaws Of Lenders" ... "A last minute call to Homeowners Help Center...canceled the auction of my home"..."I can sleep tonight" Robinson, 61; said..."Thank god we made it"
